Our favorite anti-spam tool for WordPress

If you’re wondering how to stop those annoying spam comments that spam-bots will leave on blog posts, we have found a plug-in that does just that.

And the best part is that it doesn’t require your website visitors to enter a captcha code (ie a bunch of numbers and letters) when they are posting a comment, thus the name of the plug-in: “Invisible Captcha.”

The best way to install this plug-in is to login to your WordPress dashboard, then go to the plug-ins area and click the “add new” tab. Then just type in the words “invisible captcha” and you should see it come up in the results. Then just follow the steps to install and activate the plug-in.

It works quietly in the background stopping spam comments yet allowing real comments from humans. We’ve tested it on a few blogs and so far it has worked like a charm!
